Local businesses are the backbone of our economy. Ben wants to make it easier to run a business. This means reform of business rates and VAT to lessen the burden on local businesses. An advocate for apprenticeships, and having employed apprentices before, Ben will encourage local businesses to take on apprentices, and will start by employing apprentices in his constituency office. Apprenticeships combine work with training and study. Ben is already speaking with local employers.
